Fruit flies can be a terrible nuisance around your home. Overriped fruits and vegetables can attract them as well as fermenting matters in the drain and trash bins.

Fill a bowl with 4 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and a few drops of dish soap. Then place it where the fruit flies are commonly present.
Fill a cup with red wine and add a few drops of liquid dish soap. Place the bowl around the house in areas where gnats are commonly present.
Peppermint is a natural insect repellents. All you have to do is mix a few drops of the essential oil with a cup of water and place in a spray bottle. Spray it around your home.
If you notice the presence of flies around your sink area, baking soda, and vinegar is the best solution to get rid of them. Just pour a cup of vinegar and baking soda down the sink drain. Wash it down with hot water .
