Granite makes a wonderful addition to any home. While granite can practically last forever, proper maintenance is necessary for its upkeep, longevity and shine.
Here's how you can best care for your granite countertop.
Clean it Regularly - Remove all items from the countertop and Clean the surface with a damp cloth and dish soap to wipe away any dirt, grease, and food residue on the countertop.
Do not use all-purpose cleaning products or product with harsh chemicals like bleach. This can damage the granite and break down the sealant.
Avoid using abrasive pads and abrasive scrubbers. Abrasive cleaners can scratch the surface of the stone and damage the sealer.
