Here are some items that could already be sitting around your house.
Rare Coins and Stamps
Old coin collections and stamp albums are easy to overlook, especially if they’ve been sitting in a drawer for years.
Some coins can be worth much more than their face value because of their age, precious-metal content, limited production, unusual mint marks, or errors. Stamps can also attract collectors when they’re rare, complete, or connected to an interesting period.

You don’t need to keep every old item just because it might be collectible. But if something has a recognizable brand, unusual design, original packaging, a signature, or an interesting history, it’s worth checking before letting it go.
The item you’ve ignored for years could turn out to be the one thing in that old box that someone else has been looking for.
