Greeting cards have gotten quite expensive over the last few years. And spending $6 or $7 on a card for every birthday, thank-you, congratulations, or other occasion can add up quickly.
Trader Joe’s cards are around $1, making it easy to grab a few whenever you see designs you like. Instead of running to the drugstore every time you need one, shoppers are building their own little card stashes at home so they’re ready when something comes up.

Plenty of Trader Joe’s shoppers aren’t waiting until they actually need a card to buy one. They’re picking up designs they like whenever they see them and building a stash at home for birthdays, thank-you notes, sympathy cards, and other occasions.
And these aren’t the plain, generic cards you might expect at this price. Trader Joe’s cards come in colorful, creative designs for all occasions.
Some of the artwork is nice enough to use beyond the mailbox. A few designs have even ended up in frames as inexpensive art, which isn’t bad for a card that costs around $1.
